Behavior is fluid, and to achieve success, the pet owner and/or responsible party (herein referred to as "you,") must be involved in practicing what you learn in your training sessions. I cannot ethically guarantee success, outcomes, or results from my services.

An ethical dog trainer can help guide and improve your communication with your dog, demonstrate techniques and skills to encourage desired behaviors and manage or phase out undesired behaviors, and help set you up for success.

You understand that there are inherent risks associated with training boarding (sitting), socializing, walking and working with pets in general.
You assume any and all responsibility for yourself, your personal property, and your pet(s) during training, boarding (sitting), walking and any other services provided by Dog Training by Jarod. You agree you will not hold Dog Training by Jarod, Jarod Wilkerson, any affiliates or property owners responsible for any injuries or misfortunes while training, boarding (sitting), walking or during any other services provided, should they occur.

You also understand that your participation in any of these activities is not without risks such as tripping, falling, getting knocked down and jumped on, bitten, scratched, etc.

No refunds. I ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1 day (24 hours) prior to the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee of $25.00.

Packages expire 1 year after date of purchase.

In the event of inclement weather (especially pertaining to walking services), sessions may be canceled and/or rescheduled.

The use of unapproved training or behavior modification devices, tools, methods, or techniques may result in cessation of services.

Any photos and/or videos of your pet(s) taken during services provided by Dog Training by Jarod are property of Jarod Wilkerson and may be used for social media, marketing, advertising, or other purposes.

10% Shelter and Rescue Adopter discount is available to those who adopted their pet(s) from a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. Proof of adoption is required. Dog Training by Jarod reserves the right to deny this or any discounts. Please ask for discount at check out. 

Vaccines are required for your pet per your veterinarian’s guidelines. It is your responsibility to have the appropriate vaccinations administered to your pet to protect him/her from any disease potentially transmitted in a boarding, training and/or socializing situation.

COVID 19:
I am wearing a mask for all appointments. I am fully vaccinated for Covid-19, however I will continue wearing a mask for all in-person appointments for the foreseeable future.
If wearing a mask causes your pet to experience fear or anxiety, I am willing to forgo wearing it at that point. We can condition your pet to get more used to being around masked people. If this is a concern for you, please let me know so we can make arrangements. I am doing my best to remain physically distant and avoid direct contact, like shaking hands. I will have to hand you my cell phone in order to process your payment. 
I recommend all clients wear a mask.
Masks are optional for clients who meet requirements to be considered "fully vaccinated" for Covid 19. (Received ALL doses [2 doses for Phizer & Moderna. 1 Dose for Johnson & Johnson] and 2 weeks or longer since final dose)
If you're not vaccinated for Covid-19, masks are required.

If you or anyone you have come into contact with experiences any symptoms of illness of any kind, I ask that you reschedule your appointment until you or anyone you have come into contact with are free of symptoms for at least 14 days. I will cancel any in-person appointments if I develop symptoms of being ill.
